What is The Standard Height of A Bathroom Vanity?

For standard bathroom vanity heights, there are three types of height arrangements available. Standard heights, comfort heights, and vessel sink heights are the standards. For an average of these three standards, you can choose the vanity mirror height that suits you.

Standard bath vanity height

As far as vanity height is concerned, it is 32 inches from the floor. Your vanity height would be ideal for families with younger children or even those with lower heights. As a result, heights larger than standard bath vanity heights are likely not to be suitable for children who are unable to reach the countertop.

In cases where you have a separate bathroom for your children, using a standard bathroom vanity height or standard bath vanity height would be useful. Adults may encounter inconvenience if adults use standard vanity heights in a bathroom.

Comfort height vanity

The comfort height vanity should be 36 inches away from the floors. In essence, most modern-day vanities are based on comfort height vanity designs. The vanity is higher than the standard height vanity.

These will help you avoid unnecessary pains associated with washing your countertop. This is ideal for bathrooms with no kids having access to the countertop. A great choice for families without children.

Vessel sink Unity

In the bathroom vanity height with a vessel sink, this is the third standard. This is one of the most efficient options where the vanity height is lowered to accommodate the additional height added by the sink. Usually, the vessel sinks add up to 5-6 inches to the height of the vanity.

Unity should have a height of 30 inches. Sink height would determine the actual height of the vanity. A bath unity must be built according to the actual height provided by the vessel sink.

What Size Bathroom Vanity Should I Purchase?

Your ideal bathroom vanity height varies depending on your location and what you're looking forward to. You can try out the different models, but it is a good idea to check out the correct size of your bathroom before you can begin shopping for the options available.

If you have a hard time selecting the type of vanity you wish to opt for, you might want to go for a standard version 32 inches in height. The idea to add vessel sinks should be settled on a bath vanity height of 30 inches if you plan to do so.

A few things to note about the mirror light height

In the above example, the mirror light height should range from 75 to 80 inches from the ground or round. If you are considering using bathroom vanity lighting height in a kids' room, you can use it at the standard height, but you can also use a floating mirror or wall-hung mirror. Increasing your height as they grow will help you.

Mirrors that need to be taller than the recommended vanity light height should be placed three inches above the top of their mirrors. There is a good choice for the vanity light. By doing so, you can get access to the right kind of illumination across a room.
